Rebecca Gallardo, MA, LMHC, LMFT, NCC
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Rebecca offers counseling support to individuals, couples and families navigating the challenges of daily life and relationships. She specializes in working with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Davidson College, and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College. While at Rollins, she earned a supplemental certificate in Family and Relationship Therapy. She completed her clinical practicum and internship at Agape Therapy Institute in Orlando, FL.
Rebecca specializes in working with individuals and couples. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes the role of the family system in individual growth and wellbeing. She collaborates with clients to work toward increased insight and improved emotional vulnerability and interpersonal connection, as a means to meaningful change in relationships and wellness.
Rebecca is a believer in nature as therapy, and enjoys spending her downtime outdoors. She is married and has children in high school and college. She loves practicing yoga, growing vegetables and flowers, traveling, backpacking, attending concerts, and reading a good book or enjoying a wild Florida thunderstorm.
